The user can add and manage material types, apply lead-ins and lead-outs, choose pierce locations, specify dwell times and cutter compensation values. In addition, the user can automatically apply corner features, define ranges for the implementation of cutting conditions and microjoints, and choose between chain/bridge cutting and common cutting for part boundaries. The software also performs interference checking while applying the cutting features. Cutout avoidance has been improved to generate an optimal path while traversing around cutouts previously cut.

Dynamic zooming makes part and sheet navigation simpler and more user friendly. The software also allows for quick manipulation of cutting features, conditions and etching pattern assignment, thereby substantially improving the user interaction from previous versions.

Machine setup is more intuitive, making it easier for users to specify the parameters for their machines. Automatic after-cut conditions allow the user to add code to the program after each cut. The user can also specify the physical parameters of the work chutes and the size factors required to determine when pieces drop through the chutes automatically. The chute moves to align with the part dynamically when sequencing.
