METALSOFT Announces the Release of FabriWIN 9.0

The new capabilities of FabriWIN 9.0 include enhanced punching and cutting options that support the use of criteria for optimum control over the cutting process.

The software also performs interference checking while applying the punching tools. The automatic tool prefences can now select more optimal tools for preferred patterns.

New features included with Fabriwin 9.0 now, can assign microjoints on corners and lines automatically based on user preferred material settings. Tool assignment and sequencing features have been added to increase the users efficiency and speed in getting results faster.

IntelliNEST has been improved for more practical materal selection and sheet utilization. Along with assigning cutting process conditions based on a part by part basis. The new cutting processes used by nesting are chain and skip part, used mostly for heavier plate material, to reduce heat build-up, scrap removal and piercing time.

Tool information and cutting length from FabriWIN can now create a virtual estimate in FabriTRAK. In turn, FabriTRAK provides critical data from released work orders for use in FabriWIN's IntelliNEST. IntelliNEST generates premium nested sheets for production while reporting back to FabriTRAK with actual production information for true costing of nested parts. The material inventory can now be shared between FabriTRAK and FabriWIN.
